Desired width of the output in millimeters — a 150 mm export is literally 150 mm across on paper. Height is calculated from the image's aspect ratio and updates as you adjust width or font size.
Total symbol count grows with the square of width. Doubling the width gives roughly four times as many characters.
Point size of each character cell. Smaller fonts pack more symbols into the same width for finer detail.
At 8 pt and 150 mm you get ~96 columns; at 4 pt and 500 mm the output approaches photorealistic density.
Adjusts the overall brightness of the output — lower values favor lighter symbols for a brighter image, while higher values push toward denser symbols for a darker look.
Values below 5 favor lighter symbols for a brighter image; above 5 favor denser symbols for a darker result.

Higher values make edges crisp and distinct; lower values produce softer, more blended transitions.
Flips the logic of processing the image's luminance — dark regions produce denser symbols on a light background, or light regions produce denser symbols on a dark background.
Also affects how Symbol Bias behaves — the gamma direction reverses so the same slider value produces the opposite shift.
Strips all color. Every symbol renders in pure black or white depending on inversion state.
The underlying character selection does not change; only the color information is discarded.
Sets the canvas background behind the ASCII output — use it to preview how the symbols read against light or dark surfaces.
Colors are stored per mode: Normal and Inverted each keep their own background and restore it when you toggle Inversion.
